Is IMDb Fair?

How do you decide whether to watch a particular movie or not? Do you judge the movie by its IMDb rating? I am sure most of you do this. I too used to do this for all the movies before I watched them, until I realized that I was very wrong. Let me tell you why I think so. And now, amidst this saturation of movies, DC plans to reintroduce or rather reboot their superhero movies under the name DC (unofficially DCEU). Questioning the ability of DC to lay a strong foundation for their characters is not the point here (though that needs serious questioning). My point is, isn’t it enough? Are the audience not weary of superheroes? Apart from the visual treat and witty dialogues, superhero movies have noth...
